Amanda Y. became the first Angler of the Month in 2006, her love and enjoyment of fishing is evident.
Way to go Amanda.
My name is Amanda Y. (Charleston TN) and I am an avid fishermen (or should I say fishergirl). I took a photo
of my catch of the day on Lake Guntersville in Alabama on July 2, 2006. It was about 2 O' clock when
we (my husband and myself) put in at Goose Pond Colony. We fished for a few hours catching many smaller fish. Then when all
my guards were down and I was watching people shoot off some fireworks it struck my line on the edge of the grass bed.
I was using a white Zoom horny toad on a Mitchell Advocate rod & reel. I was using 12 lb test line.
Brenda Sweat - was recognized as one of our Anglers of the month in 2006. Her passion for
the sport is quickly seen.
This is Brenda Sweat of South Carolina, check her out doing some night fishing on the Santee Cooper
Lakes with there Guide Brian. She enjoys fishing, and really got into catching this catfish. Her husband David says
she is a true fisherwoman and we all agree. We should all remember Fishing is not always a Daytime event.
Way to Go Brenda.. great catch!
IT RUNS IN THE FAMILY. BRENDA'S DAUGHTER CAUGHT HER FIRST CHANNEL CAT ON A WORM.
IM SURE SHE MADE MOM PROUD... WE KNOW FOR SURE HER DAD DAVID IS...
