My name is Lucy Bowden, I am 20 years old and I run my own fishing business here in the UK!
I have been running the online website
www.fishingforeveryone.com for the past three years with the sole aim to get more people out there and going fishing, in particular more women!
I believe that anyone can go fishing and that no matter your age, race, gender or ability- anyone can fish! Fishing is
not like most sports that we participate in, since it does not require that you need to have a certain degree of fitness in
which to particpate.
I sell various products online through my website to try and encourage more ladies into angling, from pretty fishing
waistcoats and thermals to light weight fishing equipment and brightly coloured wellies!
I go with the option that if fishing clothing looks good more ladies will think about giving it a try!
Fishing is my passion and I have been going fishing all my life. I first got hooked as a little girl when my dad
took me out. I remember my first ever fishing trip when I caught my biggest catch to date- an 8 1/2 rainbow trout- I
was so excited and pleased with myself!
Not only had I caught the biggest fish I've caught to date, but, I was also the first female to catch
a large fish on the lake, and because of this the newspapers loved it!
I hope to bring you some of the stories of being a angler, and what it has done to change my life and inspire others.
